Anaa Jibicho

Anaa Jibicho, an immigrant from Ethiopia, endured the tragic loss of two siblings to water-borne illnesses and suffered from a water-related disease himself. He immigrated to the United States in 2007, finding a new home in Minnesota where he forged a lasting friendship with Lamah Bility for over 10 years.

His commitment to his community and his education has led to many recognitions such as the National Midwest Regional Youth of the Year, Gates Scholar, and Dell Scholar. He was also recognized as Minnesota’s 25 under 25 for his work with Didomi in making a difference across the world.

Anaa graduated from Pomona College with a bachelors in Economics.

As of 2024, Anaa has transitioned out of his role with Didomi and will be utilizing his degree as a Consultant with Bain & Company. Anaa’s dedication to Didomi’s mission and passion for helping others will forever be entrenched in Didomi’s story.
