N’zerekore, Guinea
Upon arriving in Guinea, our founder Lamah Bility was shocked by the dire need for water in this region. He realized that during the summer season all the Wells will dry up completely, leaving thousands of people without access to water.
Didomi built a state of the art Borehole and water systems to provide accgess to clean safe water to those in this community and to ensure that even in the summer, people will still have access to clean water.
Chamba, Ghana
In this area there were no clean water sources. Children and adults had to walk 2+ miles to access the dam, which had unclean water, then walk home with buckets full of unclean water.
The community saw multiple people die daily due to water-borne illnesses like cholera, typhoid fever and extreme diarrhea.
In partnership with Lift Up, Didomi helped build a deep Borehole and easy-to-maintain water systems near each community that walks miles to this dam.
Bugadde, Uganda
Uganda is experiencing changing rainfall patterns due to climate change, which affects water availability. Droughts and floods are becoming more frequent and severe, impacting water supplies.
In partnership with Lift Up, Didomi helped build a deep Borehole and provided a Village in Uganda access to clean, safe water.
Gracias, Honduras
This project provided clean and safe drinking water in 30 rural communities located within the Puca Wildlife Refuge of Gracias Lempira, Honduras where over 25,900 people live with poor quality water.
In partnership with Lift Up, Didomi helped fix existing water systems that failed to provide 25,900 clean water. Upon fixing the water systems, a local person was trained to maintain the quality of the water supply for years to come.
Ethiopia
Didomi partnered with Stream of Hope to bring essential water access to over 2,500 individuals in the South Wollo Region of Ethiopia.
This significant initiative ensures that students, teachers, and families at Ayata Primary School will benefit from clean, safe, and reliable water sources.
As we move forward, we look forward to witnessing the enduring benefits this project will bring to the community, enhancing lives for generations to come.
